There are many great nature photography oriented workshops to choose from in many locations ... but perhaps that isn't what you are looking for this time.

You don't always need a lesson but perhaps a companion in a new location. You are an accomplished nature photographer already (or on your way!). Wouldn't it be great to know a local Guide that would take you to great shooting locations when you visit a new area of the world? Someone that shoots like you do. Someone that shoots the same camera brand that you do. Someone you have come to know via email, chat and phone calls before the shoot. Someone that can really help you get the shots you want to get in the time that you have to get them.

All of that, is what Nature Photography Guides is all about. Started by photographers that don't want to pay for instruction when it isn't needed but need guidance in new exciting locations. Guides, companions, fixers, local talent, fellow photographers, drivers ... whatever you want to call them, that's what we have here. Here's how it works.

Taking time to explore an area as part of a small team can be terrific.

FAQs: Read these before doing your search. There is no cost for using this service to find a Guide however there is some small print you should read. The Guides do have fees, schedules, and limitations as we all do etc. And this site takes no responsibility for any calamity. This is just a meeting place. By using this site you are agreeing to this.

FIND a GUIDE: If you are looking for a companion to shoot with, visit the Guide list and search. You will see a search box in the upper left of the page. Use the location first to browse the Guides then get more specific ... do you want some "instruction"? Do you want a "Nikon" shooter? Do you want your Guide to have "4-wheel drive" transportation? Add those terms and/or others to narrow your search down to the Guides you want to study further.

CONTACT: Once you have narrowed down your search click the email links and send your Guides a message. Your Guide will respond as soon as possible. The Guides' real email addresses are hidden here for safety but when you start communicating, your Guide will share all the information you need. Chat with all the Guides that seem like they may be a good fit and choose the one that seems best for you and your photography.

COSTS: There are no costs involved with using this service to find a Guide. Most Guides will have fees. It is your responsibility to negotiate and pay those fees yourself directly to the the Guide. Nature Photography Guides takes no responsibility or liability for any problems with Guide fees.

Some Guides will take groups others prefer one-on-one.
